I am so excited for the holiday weekend. My bf is coming to town and we have a weekend full of summer fun ahead!Due to the nature of the holiday I want to take a moment and thank our military for giving us the opportunity to celebrate the birth of our country. Without them we would have nothing to celebrate. There are so many families that will be without their loved ones because they are overseas and though my bf is in the Army, I am lucky enough to be able to spend it with him. My thoughts are with those people this weekend.
I hope you all have fun whatever you do!

OMG, I met a girl from Santa Monica yesterday (she was here for Canada Day festivities, but goes back tomorrow to Cali) and was asking her what 'June Gloom' was bc I kept reading about it (clearly I hadn't seen your post yet!) on blogs. She explained it all to me, the rolling of the fog up the hills, etc. - very interesting!!
