Well New York was a whole lot of fun. The weather was scorching hot! But it did go by in a NY Minute. I got to shop and get drinks with may Gay Boyfriend Brionne, who has been living in NYC for the last year and a half acting in off broadway shows (and whom I never get to see.)
We did a lot of looking but due to the unbearable humidity we had many cocktail breaks in between. It didn't make for a productive shopping excursion, but it did make for a whole lotta fun.
I also got to go to great dinners and spend quality time with my straight boyfriend.
It went by too quick and one time square car bomb scare later...I'm home. But not for very long as next weekend I am off again to DC . I know, I know I am becoming quite a little jet setter...and loving every minute of it ;)

And yes Amanda (A.Co. Est. 1984)...this so is an American Apparel dress. Nothing gets by you smart girl!

There's nothing better than a gay bf and straight bf in one weekend! Looks like you had a blast Jamie! (no pun intended) lol! Shopping is great in NY, but for the most part you can get the same things here. My last few trips, I've saved my usual shopping money and spent it on new ways to explore the city. There's so much to do and see (and eat!), so now I'm making it a point to do something different everytime I go. I somehow still manage to wander into the shops though. :)

So happy you are safe! Bren is right, a gay bf and straight bf makes for the best of the best of trips! Lovin' the new necklace!
ReplyDeleteAwww, your man loves you!! Ok,
ReplyDelete1. So glad you're safe.
2. At first I thought those dresses looked a lot like DVF, but when I saw you holding THE shoes that I adore, I knew you were;) Please tell me you tried those on...or took them home.
3. Love your highlights!
4. Thanks for visiting me on my blog even though you are jet setting around the country!
Looks like a fun time! DC's great but I love weekends in NYC, I need them like once a month. Amazing you got to eat at Le Bernadin, it's def on my list of places to try. Westend's really good - I go to the gym at Sportsclub LA in the Ritz which it literally above the restaurant so I'm tempted all the time :)
ReplyDeletejamie, you look great! i'm so happy you're safe. that times square scare was so scary! i love that you have a gay boyfriend :) in fact, i think i'm a little jealous!
ReplyDeleteBellinis! Yum and shopping! Aperfect match! xoxo
